At the start of a new programme, your Open Avenues practitioner will carry out a number of initial assessments and training, so we can find out about your child and put the right support in place.

Intake packages we offer:

*For the Remote Intake Package, practical assessment will be carried out via a remote video session, with digital resources and guidance provided for parents to carry out assessment tasks. All training for this package will be provided remotely.

We would recommend the Full Intervention Package for early learners, as this allows us to carry out a range of in-depth assessments and will provide you with a detailed outcomes report. However, we appreciate that not all families are looking for this level of intensive assessment and do not need a full in-depth report; therefore we also offer the Essential Intervention Package which is more cost effective, and offers just a practical assessment.

Ongoing packages of support vary between therapy programmes. For consultancy, typical workshops last between 2-3 hours, and we recommend a minimum of visits every 4-6 weeks. We can be flexible though, and this can be tailored to suit your needs and budget.

Some families choose to hire private ABA tutors, while some parents work on targets themselves. Please note that, although Open Avenues practitioners do have some limited availability to offer 1:1 services, we do not provide ABA tutors. Our practitioners can help you find and hire tutors if you choose this type of programme.
