Remote support
ABA support by video call, for families who are not near a provider or who would rather work this way.
Remote support works much like support at home. We assess your child, set targets with you, train you to teach them, and review how it is going. The visits are video calls, and you are the one doing the teaching.
It costs less, because there is no travel and no practitioner time in your home. It is quicker to arrange, and easier to fit around work and the school run.
It suits some families much better than others.

It tends to work well if
You are home educating, or already spend a lot of the day teaching your child anyway.
You like to get on with things between calls, try something, and come back with questions.
You want to be hands-on, and would rather learn to do it yourself than watch someone else do it.
Or you have an experienced tutor on the team already. If someone else is doing the teaching and doing it well, we can supervise them just as effectively by video.
It tends not to work if
You learn better by watching someone work with your child in the room, then having a go while they are still there.
You would rather someone else led the teaching while you stayed in the background.
The practical side
Calls are usually every one to two weeks, more often at the start. Some are live, with you working with your child while we coach you through it. Others are a conversation about how the week has gone, looking at your recording together. More often, sessions involve a bit of both.
Most families find the regular calls help as much as the content does. Knowing there is a check-in coming helps with motivation in the days when everything else is busy.
You receive everything you need in printable form: step-by-step teaching guides, flashcards and visual supports made for your child, and recording sheets.
